HeatSmart Featured at the Sustainable Futures Conference April 27-30
HeatSmart Capital Region has a booth at the Innovation Salon of the Sustainable Futures Conference from 4:30–6:00pm on April 27th.
From the conference website:
“The conference will illuminate how sustainability and resilience are multi-sector issues woven into all aspects of civic life, including economic development, housing, health, recreation, design, community engagement, justice, urban ecology, and education. The conference will place particular emphasis on equity and climate justice, highlighting the implementation of New York State’s landmark Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) in the Capital Region.
The conference is organized by The Future of Small Cities Institute, which cultivates just and resilient solutions for small and midsized metro regions. FoSCI fosters local community partnerships and regional city networks, produces cross-platform resources and publications, hosts dynamic event series, and is actively building a knowledge-base of best practices for smaller cities. The University at Albany, SUNY and the Center for Architecture, Science, and Ecology (CASE) at RPI are acting as conference co-hosts.”
